"Assembled kagami-mochi" Crochet Pattern

I wanted to crochet a work for the New Year, so I made a kagami-mochi with crochet.

I thought there would be a lot of kagami-mochi patterns, so I wondered if I could make something a little different.

Crocheted kagami-mochi is light, so it doesn't feel as stable when stacked as real mochi.

So, I thought that if there was a kagami-mochi that didn't slip off, it would give me a sense of security even if I displayed it, so I crocheted this kagami-mochi.

Since it is a collapsible type, it can be stored according to the space.

The sample kagami-mochi was crocheted with yarn of different thicknesses, so the size is different, but the crocheting method is the same for both.

The large kagami-mochi was crocheted with 2-strand yarn made of linen-cotton about Fingering.
All red and white i-cord and rugs are crocheted with 2-strand yarn.

The 2-strand yarn was about DK thick, so if you crochet with DK yarn as an alternative, I think the size will be closer.

For the small kagami-mochi, I crocheted Hamanaka's "Homemade Pure Wool Chuboso" with 1-Strand.
If you crochet with Fingering, it will be just about the size of your palm.

This is a work that can be crocheted with basic techniques, mainly single crochet.
