"Flexible warmer" Crochet Pattern
"Flexible warmer" Crochet Pattern
I tried crocheting leg warmers and neck warmers.
The cold is slowly creeping up from your feet.
I've tried using a lot of leg warmers on the market, but it's unexpectedly difficult to meet just the right size.
The soft type that can't be tightened is also nice, but when I noticed that my calves were cold, the leg warmers had slipped all the way down.
So, I thought about a leg warmer that can be easily adjusted in size.
Elasticity may not be as good as the soft type, but I feel that the thick crochet fabric was the best match as a result.
As far as I actually wear it and verify it, it seems to be a "leg warmer that does not fall".
It's warm because it doesn't slip off.
If you crochet it to your own size, you can reduce the extra gap, so I think this is also a point to improve the warmth.
It's not that it doesn't stretch at all because it has stitches of Foundation Single Crochet (There is a "Foundation Single Crochet" tutorial movie on the Ronique homepage).
The crochet pattern describes the number of stitches and the amount of yarn used for the size I crocheted.
I'm a small size overall, and I crochet it to fit the calf perfectly, so please refer to the size on the crochet pattern. If you want to crochet more loosely, we recommend that you prepare more yarn than described.
I crocheted as long as I had the yarn for my leg warmers.
The crochet pattern is described as a leg warmer, but it is easy to adjust the size, so it can be easily applied to a neck warmer. And in that, as an example of arrangement, a supplementary explanation of how to crochet a neck warmer is given.
Since it is a neck warmer in the image below, I hope that it will be useful as a crocheted fabric when crocheted in one color.
This neck warmer is very compact and convenient to carry.
In Sapporo, where I live, there is a temperature difference that it is cold outside but hot in trains and underground shopping malls, so portable warm clothing that can adjust the temperature according to the situation is useful.
Both leg warmers and neck warmers can be crocheted relatively quickly, so if you think it's cold, you may be able to complete it faster than going to a store or waiting for luggage from an online shop if you have the yarn you have.
It's nice to crochet for men with a slightly thicker yarn (my family has also requested it!). Why not make it a candidate for Valentine's Day or winter gifts?
