"Buttoned pouch" Crochet Pattern
"Buttoned pouch" Crochet Pattern
A crochet pouch designed to make use of your favorite buttons.
The crocheted fabric is plump and slightly thick.
This was sold as a kit before the renewal of the online shop, and at that time I used a linen yarn.
Below is an image of a sample work I crocheted with linen yarn at that time.
Please refer to it as an image when crocheting with summer yarn.
When reposting, I reviewed the crochet pattern and arranged it into a crocheted fabric that is a little less skewed while keeping the image of the work as it is.
And this time, I used leftover sock yarn to crochet three sample pieces.
Sock yarn is plump and easy to crochet, and the colors are interesting, so it's fun to crochet.
I've been wondering how to use the leftover sock yarn for a long time, so if someone has the same problem, I would definitely recommend it as an option.
I used a sock yarn called REGIA Tweed for the pouch in the unbleached color of the main image.
It has just the right amount of tension and gives the impression of an orthodox sock yarn.
The mixture of tweed was also cute, so this is listed as the yarn used in the pattern.
Since the button is the main part of the pouch, the pattern also includes a chart for arranging it to a larger size if the buttonhole is too small to fit.
The pink pouch of the summer yarn sample is a work with a button loop.
With a loop, you can easily adjust it according to the size of the button.(The loop is not explained in the pattern.)
If you crochet vertically with a little thicker yarn, it looks like a smartphone will fit in there.
If you can't decide what to use your favorite button for, find a yarn that looks good and try crocheting.
